Job Description: Engineering Manager, Energy Pay Range Commensurate with Industry Experience Schedule Typically Monday through Friday and additional days as needed. Objective The Director of Engineering for the Energy division will lead the engineering efforts for our company's renewable energy projects, both during the bidding process and overseeing the detailed engineering for construction. This includes the design, construction, and maintenance of solar, wind, and other renewable energy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, as well as experience in the renewable energy industry. Regular Job Duties Oversee the engineering basic design and support for project bidding process Oversee the engineering design for construction of renewable energy projects Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Develop and implement engineering standards and best practices for renewable energy projects Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years of experience focused on renewable energy. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team. Experience with project management, including budgeting and scheduling. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards. NEC experience.
