Seeking Class A CDL truck driver to join our extended over-the-road program. You will be out 30 days at a time and will have 7 full days at home. The 7 days will give you extended time off to spend with family, work on projects or just enjoy being at home. This is an over-the-road position however, the running area will primarily be throughout the Northeast and as far as Illinois in the Midwest. Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver Pay: $1,800 to $2,000 per week CPM: 68 to 70 CMP Average Minimum Pay Guarantee: $1,300 per week Tenure Bonus: $3500 after one year of employment Home Time: Out for 30 days and home for 7 full days Equipment: 2019-2023 Automatic Freightliner Cascadia, well maintained Freight: General freight, 100% no-touch freight Experience: 6 months in 36 months or 1 year in 5 years. Benefits: Major Medical, 401K, Vacation and Holiday Pay Job Details Pay and home time: Extended over the road Class A CDL Truck Driver will be out 30 days at a time and home for 7 full days. You will get paid every Friday by direct deposit and the average pay is $1,800 to $2,000 per week with a minimum pay of no less than $1,300 per week. The minimum pay program provides you with security knowing if something goes wrong that you will never have a low paycheck. Duties: As a Class A CDL Truck Driver you will be running mainly the North East region. You will be hauling general freight in a Dry Van trailer that is 53 feet long. You will not be required to unload, our freight is 100% No Touch and is a combination of drop and hook and live load/unload. You will be driving the truck to its destination in accordance with Federal regulations, normally periods of up to 11 hours of driving followed by an off-duty period of at least 10 consecutive hours. Equipment Details : Our well-maintained equipment comes with Satellite TV and radio, a TV and fridge already installed and a mount for a microwave. All trucks have automatic transmissions with Inverters and APU. We have a no-weight/breed pet policy and a rider policy for family members over the age of 18. Orientation: By joining our team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will know when you walk into our orientation that you have chosen a company to call home. We will provide you with transportation to our orientation location, and meal vouchers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will be paid for orientation to give you some cash and will receive your first check the following Friday by direct deposit. Application Process: Fill out a DOT application and we will give you a call to go over the position in detail. We will run all required reports and contact any DOT previous employers. Once that is complete, we let you know if the position is still available and set up travel to orientation. We will keep you informed every step of the way during the application process which usually takes 2-3 days. Paid Vacation after 1 year Holiday pay for all major Holidays and guaranteed to be home for the holiday. Rider program for family members 18 and older. No wait time. They can even stay in the hotel during orientation. Pet Policy: One dog is allowed with no weight or breed restrictions.
