Position Summary: Responsible for leading a portion of the zone sales function. Provides direction and leadership to assigned Account Executives to meet gross margin objectives and profitability goals and participates in closing sales transactions. Works in close collaboration with the Zone Vice President to meet or exceed sales objectives. Location: Houston, TX or willing to relocated Accountabilities: Employees Managed: 5 or more direct reports depending on zone Gross Sales: Approximately $60,000,000 Duties and Responsibilities: Meets or exceeds sales objectives. Partners with the Zone Vice President to formulate zone sales strategies and goals. Serves as a mentor, coach, and resource to zone Account Executives to achieve quotas and ensure zone profitability. Maintains and develops relationships with key executives at major accounts and works to achieve customer satisfaction goals. Develops effective working relationships with key vendors in the zone. Supports Accounts Executives with the development of business prospects and works to achieve customer satisfaction goals. Partners with Account Executives on high-level sales presentations and acts as a consultative sales partner to obtain/close the sale. Assists with the preparation of sales forecasts and routinely communicates with Account Executives to ensure front log and forecast information is accurate and reasonable. Monitors zone expenses in order to meet business needs within established profitability targets. Makes recommendations to the Zone Vice President as to appropriate staffing levels, training needs and additional resources to address zone needs. Demonstrates and promotes behaviors consistent with the Company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Normal office working environment. Skills and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred Three or more years sales management experience, preferably in the radiology or medical equipment/supplies distribution industry. Excellent imaging solution selling skills. Deep knowledge of customer/clinical operating environments. Knowledge of the imaging industry and experience selling total solutions to small to mid-sized healthcare facilities. Ability to coach, motivate and mentor others to attain corporate and business objectives. Up to 80% travel
