THOMAS - HOUSTON DEPARTMENT: ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, AND MARKETING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - ACCOUNTING The University of St. Thomas (UST) - ( www.stthom.edu ), a private Catholic university in Houston, Texas committed to the liberal arts and the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time faculty position in Accounting. The start date is August 2023. Teaching will begin in the Fall of 2023. The Cameron School of Business is accredited by AACSB. This position is seeking two (2) Assistant Professors in Accounting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful applicant must: Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Engage in scholarly activities in accounting and provide service activities as needed by the department and the university. Conduct student advising and mentoring. Execute excellence in teaching and maintain a commitment to the university's mission. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should submit the following documents to be considered for the position: A terminal degree (or ABD) in the teaching field. Graduate transcripts and a copy of the Ph.D. or S.T.D. Diploma APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: Must submit a cover letter - Addressing qualifications for the position. Curriculum Vitae (CV) Philosophy on teaching. Must provide three (3) professional letters of recommendation.
