PRN Endoscopy Technician

Townsen Memorial Hospital is looking to hire a PRN Endoscopy Technician for our facility in Humble, TX! This position will be r esponsible for scrubbing in and assisting the physician in all cases. After completion of each case, the technologist will be on standby for sterile technician needs which include decontamination, preparation packaging sterilization, and sterile storage. RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizes the workflow, problem solves and manages multiple ongoing priorities Identifies and follows manufactures instructions to sort, disassemble, decontaminate, rinse and disinfect instrumentation, flexible scopes, and equipment Adheres to the proper handling of garbage, linen, and biohazardous materials Facilitates room turnovers Follows manufacturers recommendations for sterilization methods Properly handles sterile product and ensures stock is places in the proper location Consistently makes rounds through the operating rooms and confirms instrumentation needs are met Troubleshoots problems and repairs REQUIREMENTS: Our facility is subject to the CMS vaccine mandate. You must be fully vaccinated before you may begin employment with us. While our company currently does not have a vaccine mandate, we're obligated to enforce any applicable mandates under federal law.
