Towsen Memorial Imaging is looking to hire a Radiology/CT Technologist to join our team in Spring, Texas ! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, driven, and ambitious. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients Select proper ionizing factors for radiologic diagnosis Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality x-ray of the specific body area requested by the physician Takes preventative steps to minimize radiation exposure to the patient and fellow staff Adjusts and sets radiographic controls, such as kilovoltage and milliamperage, to prescribed specifications for proper timing of exposure Regulates the length and intensity of film exposure REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in radiological technology A.R.R.T certification (required) One year of radiology experience in a healthcare facility Bachelor's degree in radiological technology (Preferred) BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k with employer contribution PTO Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
