Job Description: The Foreman's primary responsibilities are to pay attention, be a team player, and learn how to perform the tasks needed. The work requires candidates who are dependable, punctual and have the ability to work quickly with accuracy. As you travel and work throughout our coverage area, you can expect us to provide you with competitive wages, full benefits, and comprehensive safety training.Essential Duties:Must be able to drive a truck and trailer.Handle transportation of equipmentWork effectively both individually and with other team membersPreparation and cleaning of sitesFollowing all fall protection safety proceduresMaintaining a safe work environment for yourself and crew membersFrequent overnight travel is mandatoryExpect to be on the road Monday through Friday, some weekend work requiredFrequent overtime is requiredOther duties assignedMinimum Qualifications:Reliable transportationAbility to successfully pass a background check and drug screenBasic knowledge of hand toolsMust get along well with others, and take directions wellAbility to lift at least 75 poundsAbility to bend, twist and contort body for extended periodsAbility to manipulate equipment and instruments with precisionAbility to work outside in all conditionsAny construction experience a plusJob Type: Full-timeExpectation/ Skill SetEstimated experience: 3+ years Ability to instruct and manage your crew - lead by example Deploy to a job with all required materials and equipment The ability to train all positions Basic computer skills o Email o Microsoft Office 365 o Vendor Apps The ability to complete Daily's Submit by 7:00 a.m. the following day The ability to complete timesheets. Submit by 7:00 a.m. the following day. The ability to complete and submit closeouts. Submit within 24 hours of job completion. The ability to identify out-of-scope work and inform the CM immediately. Provide options for resolution. The ability to complete expense reports. Submit within five business days of receiving an email from accounting The ability to communicate with the customer in a clear and positive way. The ability to review and approve the crew's work. The ability to visualize the job (big picture) and get the appropriate materials Track and report ancillary material use Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and maintenance is appropriately documented Trailer inventory management Fiber testing Ability to clean, scope, and handle fiber properly Experienced machine operator Understand AC & DC Electrical requirements and experience with NEC Schedule inspections and complete Estimate and order concrete Estimate and order materials Quality control o Ensure that the final product is to customer-specific quality standards.
