Townsen Memorial Imaging is looking for a full-time Ultrasound Technician for our Imaging Centers in Spring/Humble, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate ultrasound equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients Ensure the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists, as needed, with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention Conduct Ultrasound scans based on order and upload scanned images onto PACS system in timely manner Manage several patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment REQUIREMENTS: Must have a reliable transportation for traveling if necessary Flexible scheduling may be required to meet company needs Certificate or diploma from an accredited school of Sonographic Technology High School diploma or its equivalent WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday Dayshift Must float between our Spring and Humble locations BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k with employer contribution PTO Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
