Townsen Memorial is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to work in Pre-Op/PACU at our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Houston ,TX ! ***$10,000k sign on bonus*** RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the pre-operative area has a clean and therapeutic environment for all patients at all times Ensures supplies and equipment needed are available and in good working order Admits the patient to the unit and prepares him/her for the scheduled procedure Makes initial assessment and determines the nursing needs of the patient, communicates additional discharge needs when applicable (transportation, durable medical equipment) REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or vocational school Registered Nurse (active and unencumbered license) in the State of Texas BLS, PALS and ACLS (required) Previous pre-operative care experience (preferred) BENEFITS: Medical, Dental and Vision day one of hire 401k with employer contribution PTO $10,000k sign on bonus $8,000k relocation bonus for non local candidates WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: 8-hour dayshift ABOUT US: Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
