Townsen Memoria l is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse OR Circulator for our surgery center in Humble, TX! The ideal candidate must have effective listening and critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **** 10K Sign On Bonus***** RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and updates plan of care in partnership with patient and family using the nursing process, incorporating the patient priorities and abilities Follows the nursing processes, modifies care based on continuous evaluation of the patient's condition Plans for routine events and anticipates/prevents and manages/elevates emergent situations Reports near misses as errors promptly and consistently to improve systems and processes to identify trends Manages usual patient assignments and other area demands Addresses patient needs during admission to the operating room Prepares operating room according to requirements of patient/procedure being done Supervises and direct patent care in a single operating room Assists with identification and confirmation of operative sight Completes patient care responsibilities in a timely manner with accurate documentation REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Intra-Operative Care (Required) Ortho/Spine Experience (Preferred) Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; License must remain active and unencumbered while employed Current BLS, ACLS and PALS COVID Vaccination BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision through BCBS 401k with employer contribution PTO Competitive pay Up to $8,000 relocation bonus for non-local candidates $10,000k sign on bonus About Townsen Memorial Hospital Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
