Townsen Memorial is seeking a PRN RN House Supervisor to work nightshift for our hospital located in Humble, TX ! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, driven, and a team player. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the emergency room and patient care areas always have a clean and therapeutic environment for all patients Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant Ensures supplies and equipment needed are available and in good working order Admits the patient to the unit and prepares him/her for the admitting or emergent procedures Makes initial assessment and determines the nursing needs of the patient, communicates additional discharge needs when applicable in conjunction with the emergency room physician REQUIREMENTS: College degree required; minimum of an Associate's Degree with a Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum 2 years recent experience in an emergency/supervisor capacity acute care environment Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; License must remain active and unencumbered while employed Current BLS, ACLS and PALS Must complete additional educational requirements as assigned by due dates Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area. Our services include inpatient and outpatient surgeries, 24/7 emergency care, diagnostic imaging, and more. Our facilities are currently under a CMS mandate, all employees must be COVID vaccinated.
