Townsen Memorial Hospital is looking for a full time Dayshift or Nightshift Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Med/Surg team in Humble, TX ! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, driven, and a team player. REQUIREMENTS: Ensures the pre-operative, post-operative, observation/inpatient area has a clean and therapeutic environment for all patients at all times. Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant Ensures supplies and equipment needed are available and in good working order Assists with the admission of the patient to the unit and prepares him/her for the scheduled procedure Makes initial assessment and determines the nursing needs of the patient, communicates additional discharge needs when applicable (transportation, durable medical equipment) REQUIREMENTS: College degree or ADN (required) 1 year experience in a clinical environment (required) Registered Nurse in the State of Texas (required) Current BLS, ACLS and PALS BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k with employer contribution PTO ABOUT US: Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
