Description:
Job Summary : Entry level position that assist the on-duty operator with the terminal's operations. Key Responsibilities : The responsibilities of the C Operator include, but are not limited to: Train in the facility processes; learn and understand the Standard Operating Procedures of the facility Load and unload tank trucks carrying liquid asphalt Gauge above ground storage tanks which requires climbing to the 40 foot heights Perform facility rounds, and record specific data using an iPad Operate a sit down forklift, unloading shipping containers Uphold facility safety standards Participate in safety meetings and required training throughout the year Qualifications : High school education Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills Forklift operation experience a plus Working Conditions: Work out doors in the elements At times will be required to lift 50 pounds of weight chest high Climb to heights of 40 feet The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
