Job Title: Marketing Copywriter Location: Birmingham Salary: GBP24,005 : GBP26,743 per annum (pro: rata of GBP29,605 : GBP32,982) : SS4 Job type: Permanent, 0.81 FTE (30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick : Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023. The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birminghams marketing team as a Marketing Copywriter. You will be joining a creative and supportive team with big ambitions. Under the direction of the Senior Marketing Copywriter, you will liaise with internal and external contacts to develop creative and impactful copy for marketing and recruitment campaigns. On a day: to: day basis, you will provide copywriting and proofreading support to the Marketing team, covering a range of channels, which include social media, website, print and advertising. It is an incredibly exciting time to be joining University College Birmingham, especially with our unique, collaborative partnership with the University of Warwick : ranked ninth in the 2024 Guardian League Table and 67th in the World QS University Rankings 2024. We are also proud to have been voted top in the International category in the prestigious 2023 Whatuni Student Choice Awards and awarded silver in the University of the Year category. The awards are voted for by students, showcasing the incredible relationships we foster here at University College Birmingham between staff and students.
