Description:
CNC Maintenance Technician Qualifications Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and power transmissions. Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas. Responsibilities Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime. Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to; motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etc Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power. transmission components including, but not limited to; drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etc. Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to: tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls. Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to Machine files, repair files Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools. Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during shift. Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employee. Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or associate Degree in technical related field of study preferred. 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools. Experience working with EMAG, OKUMA, MAZAK and MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens and controls are a PLUS Email resumes to XXXX@enerstaffusa.com. Put CNC Tech in the subject line.
