QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Master?s degree from an accredited university with an emphasis in school psychology, educational psychology, or a related field accepted;2.Doctoral degree from an accredited university with an emphasis in school psychology, educational psychology, or a related field preferred;Texas licensure as a licensed specialist in school psychology (L.S.S.P.) already received or in the application process;3.Demonstrated skillset in leading, motivating, supporting, and working collaboratively with others;4.Minimum of one year of experience providing psychological services in a school setting. This may include LSSP internship experience;5.Knowledge of Special Education service delivery. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Probationary/Term Contract: 197 daysSALARY:$66,255 (Licensed Psychologist PhD), pay grade IA-5$62,506 (School Psychologist)($1,000 for PhD), pay grade IA-4 Position & Primary Responsibilities (see posted position on website for additional duties):10-month / 197-day contract2 campuses for full-time new staffSpecial education evaluations for suspected Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and/or Other Health Impairment for ADHDPsychological related services for students receiving special education supports and qualify for such services (indirect/consultation or direct/counseling)General consultation for students not currently receiving special education services or psychological related servicesSuicide risk screenings and school/district-wide crisis response (in collaboration with our district Mental Health Intervention Team), as neededCampus staffings and IEP meetings for students on caseload, as warranted Benefits:Assigned mentor for all new staff; periodic new staff meetings with lead psychologistsTwo lead psychologists and two full-time secretariesCentralized office space for LSSPs and psychology interns, housed with Director of Psychological Services and administrative staffDedicated time for report writing, training, and other administrative tasks/dutiesAnnual allotment of funds for continuing educationIn-house department continuing education opportunitiesWealth of department resources for assessment, intervention, and organization/maintenance of electronic files and associated documentsStipend for holding a doctoral degreePay grade adjustment/increase for being a Licensed PsychologistPostdoctoral supervision, including weekly group supervision and additional trainings, for staff pursuing licensure as a Licensed PsychologistAdditional campus/caseload support provided to LSSPs, as needed Additional Information:APA-accredited doctoral internship program with 10 dedicated doctoral intern positionsEducational Diagnosticians facilitate IEP meetings, complete cognitive and achievement testingCase managers complete FBAs and behavior plans
