Here's a comprehensive job description:Job Overview:The Energy And Infrastructure Disputes Lawyer will be responsible for managing a diverse docket of cases related to energy, commercial litigation, construction, and infrastructure disputes. The ideal candidate should possess strong litigation experience and be adept at research, analysis, and legal writing. They must demonstrate proactive initiative and be capable of taking on primary case development responsibilities.Duties:Manage a diverse caseload of energy, commercial litigation, construction, and infrastructure disputes.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings as necessary.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on dispute resolution strategies.Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy and development.Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably focusing on energy and commercial litigation.Strong interest and experience in construction and infrastructure disputes.Admitted to and in good standing with the Texas Bar.Excellent research, analysis, and writing skills.Proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Texas Bar.Skills:Litigation experienceLegal researchCase managementLegal writingCommunicationClient counselingNegotiationAttention to detailTime management
