BTR is partnering with a leading device security brand to enhance security measures for their retail client's products on the sales floor. As a Technology Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in upgrading the store's security devices to cutting-edge smart lock technology. Collaborating with the Project Manager and the client, you'll oversee the seamless management of the device security upgrade project. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the project stays on track and overseeing its overall success by providing proper training to the store personnel and BTR's merchandisers on the new technology. This customer-facing role also involves conducting quality store walks with the retail managers to ensure the smooth implementation of the smart lock project. Join us in driving innovation and excellence in retail security solutions! Responsibilities: Manage medium to large-scale projects throughout all phases within a store environment. Establish and oversee administrative procedures for each project. Maintain seamless communication with clients to ensure successful project execution. Interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with customers and team members. Demonstrate strong time-management skills to ensure customer satisfaction. Display exceptional interpersonal communication skills when dealing with internal and external partners. Oversee team and individual efforts, assigning tasks based on observed or known skills. Provide periodic performance development feedback to team members. Ensure safety and minimize risk by adhering to company and customer safety practices. Review emails regularly and respond promptly to ensure successful job completion. Review schedules weekly and report any conflicts to field management personnel. Communicate with project teams and field management via daily email and field reports. Provide honest feedback when reviewing submitted daily field reports. Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping within the company's reporting systems. Coordinate the employee time-recording process and ensure accurate transmission to the field management team. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and distributed appropriately. Assist with placing manufacturer products on shelves and ensuring adherence to specifications. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members to carry out special instructions. Identify and address specific issues related to missing components, security device setup, network issues, or design flaws. Demonstrate good judgment in prioritizing tasks to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue. Seek guidance as needed to fulfill responsibilities effectively. Investigate and solve problems associated with meeting company objectives. Work additional hours as needed to meet project demands. Utilize time efficiently to maximize work efficiency. Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and proficiency with smartphone devices. High school diploma/GED preferred, with proven educational development in business management or project administration preferred. Ability to follow instructions and diagrams such as Plan-O-Grams, RIGs, training videos, and blueprints. 5+ years of experience managing field operations for retail services companies. 3-5 years of experience with network, routers, modems, and device security. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with ownership of basic tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Ability to multitask, work independently, and execute with limited supervision. Exceptional time-management skills ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Willingness to Travel 90% of time. Ability to work nights and weekends for up to 2-3 consecutive weeks during travel or high-volume periods, with advance notice
