Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Houston, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and analytical capabilities, with a preference for those with a federal clerkship background. Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing is highly desirable. Duties:Handle complex commercial litigation cases with meaningful involvement on a national scale.Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing for ongoing litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for federal court proceedings.Participate in case strategy development and client meetings.Assist with Electronic Discovery processes and management.Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case-related tasks.Attend court hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related events.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.Provide legal counsel and representation to clients as needed. Requirements:Distinguished academic background with superior writing and analytical capabilities.Preference given to candidates with a federal clerkship background.2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Active law license in good standing.Experience with Electronic Discovery and federal court writing preferred. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Valid law license in the state of Georgia. Skills:Exceptional writing and analytical skills.Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
