The team is comprised of a global network of security professionals with a diverse skill set, ensuring market leading products and services are being provided 24/7, anywhere in the world.AIG Travel provides 24-hour emergency travel assistance services to any customer who has purchased travel insurance from AIG. AIG Travel acts as an emergency hot-line during a policy holder's travels for such issues as lost passport replacement, airline and hotel reservation changes; security related concerns, as well as referrals to a doctor or hospital, and emergency medical evacuations. The Intelligence Supervisor is charged to manage, oversee, and act as the primary quality control component for the intelligence efforts of an analytical team. The Travel Security Team is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data from a variety of international resources in order to produce threat assessments and global intelligence reports for AIG clients around the world. How you will create an impact SUPPORT - provision of support to provide Intelligence products and services The Intelligence Supervisor will be responsible to manage and organize an analytical shift and will be responsible for the Intelligence Products provided by the analytical shift and will also actively collaborate with the NY GSOC when they need intelligence support To work with the regional assistance teams and Account Management in order to understand customer feedback in regards to services in order to better tailor and align security intelligence product and service to the customer's needs Work with the regional security teams to ensure alignment with AIG Travel account managers and AIG business units on products being promoted to market ENGAGE - Assist with Security Intelligence Product development To ensure that security intelligence concepts and product development are capitalized on through focused and directed project management where required. The post will be a primary analytical point of reference and will utilize various analytical techniques and procedures to understand and decode a wide range of intelligence information and assist operations staff to make strategic decisions Manage an analytical shift in order to identify potential hotspots around the world that may pose a security threat to customers and direct priority briefings as such To be proactive during operations or crisis response to provide intelligence to support operations as well as to ensure that operations tracking systems are up to date during a crisis or event. To act as primary point of contact on ensuring editing, marketing and legal have reviewed all documentation before it is sent out. DEVELOP - Enhance Products and Services - development of products through knowledge of the region and unique requirements in the region. To manage an analytical shift to ensure they monitor and report on any incident impacting policy holder property and personnel worldwide. This includes the utilization of several software tracking systems, quantifying large amounts of data and providing information in a short period of time Perform research and provide content updates for the Global Threat Monitoring internet site. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree required 10+ years' experience managing a team of analysts and preferably with military, major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector security experience Experience dealing across a variety of markets - regional language capabilities is a plus Ability to build a strong network of intelligence resources is a must Extensive knowledge and understanding of current global geo-political activity, threat conditions, and government structures. Able to work with limited supervision and resources - must have a 'can do' attitude Analytical with good business acumen Well developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Capable of building relationships Ability to work both operationally and strategically To work effectively in a matrix organization and influence people not directly under job holders control To deliver results in a tough and competitive environment To be flexible to undertake a variety of security related projects and issues Work across multiple time zones Other dimensions: The job holder may be required to undertake travel.
