Your opportunity: Reporting to the Chair and working closely day-to-day with the Associate Chair Graduate and the Associate Chair Undergraduate, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Undergraduate and Graduate programs in the Department of Italian Studies. Graduate Program: The incumbent administers the Master’s and Ph. D. programs. Duties for the Graduate Program Office include: interprets and applies University of Toronto and departmental guidelines and procedures; administers the on-line admissions process and reviews graduate applications for the School of Graduate Studies; prepares files for the Graduate Admissions Committee; organizes course timetabling, student orientations and student registration; provides data regarding scholarships & fellowships for the Faculty of Arts & Science; assists the Associate Chairs and the Business Officer with appointments of Teaching Assistant and Course Instructor positions within the Department; and.
