Skilled Construction Worker - Playground

WE TRAIN! Join our team at Premier Outdoor Installations, a leading playground installation company dedicated to creating safe, innovative, and exciting play spaces for communities. We specialize in designing and constructing playgrounds that inspire creativity, promote physical activity, and foster social interaction for children of all ages. Responsibilities: --- Assist tradespeople and heavy equipment workers with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other trade work as needed --- Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently --- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured --- Provide support to your team through all stages of every project to make sure the job is done efficiently --- Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it construction starts --- Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage --- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment --- Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines --- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects --- Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner --- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality Qualifications: --- This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance --- We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED --- Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred --- Experience with construction builds is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates --- Needs to be good at following directions and complete tasks, both independently and on a team --- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field --- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials --- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications --- Experience operating construction equipment and machinery preferred --- Excellent communication and teamwork skills --- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety About Company: At Premier Outdoor Installations, Inc., we are committed to upholding the very highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
