In your role as an Epoxy Process R&D Scientist, you will assume a technical leader role in Epoxy Process Research with responsibility for working cross-functionally and globally to develop and improve chemical processes. Epoxy Process R&D Scientist Essential Job Functions: * Lead projects related to development of new and improved chemical manufacturing processes * Develop fundamental understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization * Utilize experimentation, analytical methods, modeling, and other tools in support of projects and opportunities * Define processes and supporting scale-up from lab to pilot and manufacturing scales * Develop effective experimental plansEpoxy Process R&D Scientist Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree* in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; Master's Degree* or PhD* preferred * Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process research, chemical operations, or process design. Experience in process research, process development, scale-up, or epoxy technology preferred * A demonstrated record of technical leadership, problem solving, and driving complex projects to success * Ability to collaborate globally and cross-functionally on technical projects; communicating effectively regarding technology development plans and outcomes * Experience in engineering and modeling tools such as ASPEN, Athena, CFD tools, etc. preferred * Six Sigma certification is a plusGrow your career where you are rewarded and valued.Who We AreSince 1892, Olin Corporation has steadily grown to become the industry leader in both chemicals manufacturing and ammunition.
