Practice Area: Workers' Compensation Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Buffalo location. The Associate Attorney must be well-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, personable, and eager to work directly with clients. They will primarily handle Workers' Compensation cases. Duties:Handle Workers' Compensation cases from start to finish.Conduct legal research and analysis.Prepare and file legal documents and pleadings.Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Manage case deadlines and priorities.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients. Requirements:1-5 years of litigation experience.Strong organizational and time management skills.Self-motivated and detail-oriented.Personable and able to work directly with clients. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong research and writing abilities.Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and procedures.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
