As a Laboratory Specimen Accessioner/Data Entry at Genview DX, you serve as the crucial gatekeeper for all specimens entering the laboratory. Your meticulous attention to detail is key as you accurately enter essential data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). By identifying any discrepancies or missing information that could impede the smooth progress of specimens through testing phases, you ensure the integrity of the entire process. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of accuracy and efficiency that Genview DX is known for in the healthcare industry. Your commitment to precision and thoroughness makes you an indispensable part of our team. What matters most To excel in the role of Laboratory Specimen Accessioner/Data Entry at Genview DX, you must possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Your ability to verify client and specimen details, ensure adequacy of specimens, and accurately capture data electronically is crucial. Proficiency in tasks such as labeling specimens, preparing aliquots, and following laboratory procedures is essential. Strong interpersonal skills to assist clients and phlebotomists, along with analytical problem-solving abilities, are required. Compliance with regulations and company policies is a must. A high school degree with relevant experience or a 2-year degree in a related field is necessary. Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel, coupled with high efficiency in data entry, will contribute to your success in this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company procedures and policies. High School degree and 3+ years of experience as phlebotomist OR a 2-yr. degree with at least two years of relevant experience. Interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. You're a good listener and loyal advocate of customer success.
