We are seeking an experienced loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities: • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision• Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to• Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements• Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters• Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business Qualifications: • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations• Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field• At least 1 year of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required• Must have basic skills in CRM, Microsoft apps, and current software/hardware usage• Must be comfortable marketing on social media and in-person networking events• Must have NMLS license • The position is an in office position.
