Your expertise will shine as you utilize the HCSS Heavy Bid program to craft competitive bids within specified timelines. By attending meetings and site visits, you will gather crucial details to inform project strategies, from material quantities to subcontractor requirements. Leveraging your industry knowledge, you will establish strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective sourcing.Additionally, your thorough review of contracts and project documents will set the stage for successful project execution. Join us in providing essential support to our Project Management teams and driving our construction projects to completion.DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?To excel as a Full Time Estimator for Large Diameter Utilities at S.J. Louis, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, though experience can also be a strong asset. With at least 5 years of experience in heavy civil underground utilities construction, you should exhibit a solid understanding of the industry. Proficiency in construction estimating and project management is advantageous, along with a valid driver's license. Comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements and safety standards is paramount.Your adeptness with software like Microsoft Office and Outlook is crucial, and familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid and Heavy Job is beneficial.
