Division:CHofSA Pediatric Departments (80001089) Department:CHofSA Pediatrics : Gastroenterology (90006651) Employment Duration: Full:time Working Title: Assistant Professor Summary Baylor College of Medicine at The Childrens Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a faculty member to fill a Full:time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package. Physicians in the Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition treat children suffering from a wide range of intestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders and will also provide out:patient clinical care, in:patient coverage and in:patient consultation at CHofSA. About The Childrens Hospital of San Antonio: Serving as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community, CHofSA is a world:class childrens hospital : both inside and out. In February 2013, The Childrens Hospital finalized an agreement with Baylor College of Medicine, highly ranked medical school by the U.S. News and World Report. Baylor College of Medicine recruits, employs, and oversees physicians and advance practice practitioners at the Childrens Hospital. Job Duties stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.: Inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.: General pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures).
