The candidate will be responsible for providing clients with updates on their cases, communicating with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers, and representing clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. Strong negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication are essential for this role. Duties:Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their claims, demands, and offersCommunicate effectively with insurance companies to negotiate settlements and agreementsAttend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clientsUtilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategiesDraft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as requiredConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesCollaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case managementMaintain accurate and organized case files and documentation Requirements:Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates with First Party Property Damage experienceProficiency in claim evaluation processes and legal principlesExceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Member of the Florida Bar in good standing Skills:Superb negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong legal research and analytical abilitiesEffective case management and organizational skills Benefits:Competitive wagePaid time off, holidays, bereavement, and sick time401K retirement savings plan with firm matchGroup medical, dental, and vision plansEmployer-covered supplemental benefitsVoluntary supplemental benefitsAnnual performance reviews
