Partner with the best As a Chemical Support Operator, you will play a key role to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and distribution of chemicals. You will deal with customer requirements in a professional manner to deliver the highest levels of service, safety and compliance.As a Chemical Support Operator, you will be responsible for:Following all HS&E policies and procedures in accordance with the Bayport HS & E Management SystemPreparing all chemical orders in accordance with company procedures to ensure safe and timely delivery to customersTransporting, loading and unloading of products at site to ensure safe delivery and correct receiptPerforming chemical mixing, container re-labelling, and container filling to ensure products are of required quality for customerSupporting periodic checks and maintenance of plant equipment to reduce breakdowns and ensure operational safetySampling, staging, and charging materials to chemical vessels, and reactors and control panel operations as needed Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:Have a high school diplomaHave extensive experience in chemical services environmentDisplay attention to detail, having good IT Skills including experience of SAPBe familiar with Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory requirementsBe a good team player and display good communication skillsHave a full valid Driver License and be an experienced Forklift OperatorBe accustomed to working in a busy, outdoor environmentExperience with inventory transactions and record keeping tasks both manual and electronic Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
