Our client, Town of Hurley is looking for a Part-time Municipal Code Officer/Stormwater Management Officer to work onsite at their office in Hurley, NY.The work involves: The ability to read and understand municipal codes and regulations Reading and understanding site plans and erosion/sediment control plans Performing field inspections Handling complaints Keeping detailed records and filing required reports as required Interacting with land owners, business owners and agency officials This individual will have: Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Qualified candidates must possess or be able to obtain: Applicable Municipal Code Officer certifications Valid driver's license The position is for 20 hours per week minimum, with some flexibility in the daily schedule. Pay commensurate with work-related experience. Background check(s), including motor vehicle reports, required. Pay Range: $27.00/hr. to $31.00/hr.Benefits include paid time off, NYSLRS, deferred compensationPowered by JazzHR
