Summary The General Manager of Financial Planning is responsible for managing the budgeting, planning, management reporting and other analytical activities for all businesses at JERA Americas. The GM of Financial Planning will create, manage, and update mid to long term financial models for the business lines at JERA Americas including Power Plants, LNG, Low Carbon and Renewables on a consolidated basis. It is expected for the GM to make significant contributions to the growth and strategic initiatives at JERA Americas, including supporting the business development teams. Furthermore, this position will work with the other teams at JERA Americas to put together annual budgets, forecasts, and long:term plans for the business. This position will also work closely with HQ, in Tokyo, and JERA Americas management regarding the creation, distribution, and enhancement of management reporting of the JERA Americas business. Position Description: Manage the financial planning function at JERA Americas: Respond to requests from JERA Americas management and HQ regarding financial analysis and reporting: Creation and upkeep of long:term financial models for power plants, LNG, Low Carbon and other assets at JERA Americas: Assist in the creation of and maintenance of corporate valuation model for various purposes including Enterprise valuation and external credit assessments: Drive and design implementation of SAC forecasting for JERA Americas: Finalize implementation and maintain cloud based financial reporting system: Perform budgeting, forecasting and long:term planning for JERA Americas: Create tracking reports for various JERA Americas initiatives such as monthly forecast, performance and Key Performance Indicators: Work with confidential data, which, if disclosed, might have significant internal effect or minor external effect: Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization Qualifications Required Education and Experience : Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance, accounting, and financial planning in power industry: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in finance, accounting, and financial planning: Knowledge of energy industry investment and analysis Preferred Education and Additional Eligibility Qualifications : Master's Degree in accounting or financestylemargin:bottom:13.0px:: CPA or other designation: Strong mathematics and analytical skills : Experience with implementing financial reporting/analysis systems: Excellent computer skills: Excellent communication skills: Time management skills
