About this role: Executes and supports testing of implantable medical device batteries often involving specialized equipment in a laboratory environment during the design, development, and production life cycles of medical devices batteries. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of BSC products and improve the lives of our patients. You will be directly involved in characterizing and evaluating the performance of implantable medical device batteries. Your responsibilities will include: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Utilizing battery test equipment and ovens to execute battery characterization and evaluation testing.:Builds or assembles prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies.:Constructs, operates, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, maintains and tests equipment, systems, and products.:Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.:Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports.:Reviews or develops processing or manufacturing instructions.:Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.:Troubleshoots evaluations results, test setup, and test equipment to resolved errors in test data. Required qualifications: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::1 Year with Associates in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience Preferred qualifications: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Troubleshooting/debugging experience:Strong oral and written communication skills:Excellent task management and problem solving skills for working in a fast paced lab environment on multiple time sensitive projects:Equipment control within medical device quality system:Experience with Maccor or other battery test systems and procedures Requisition ID:582672 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety:sensitive positions.
