Summary One Full Time Teacher Position available in a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 Classroom age grouping You would help out in classrooms while teachers are on their breaks and cover while teachers are absent as a general training process. During this time in the classroom, you are expected to maintain the established routines, diapering/bathroom activities, mealtime management and follow through with the ongoing classroom learning curriculum. This position will become a Lead Teacher position with a regular full-time schedule.Must be able to pass a background check and a physical, be at least 18 and have a high school diploma. Experience is a plus but not a requirement. We will do on-the-job training. Must be a self-starter, enjoy working with children and be patient and loving.Pay depends on experience. * Work Schedule is flexible within full-time hours per week of 32+ scheduled hours. (We are happy to work around college classes as well.) Duties You will train for up to 4 weeks with a lead teacher within the classroom. Hands on learning is an essential part of our training process. During this time in the classroom, you learn to maintain the established routines, diapering/bathroom activities, mealtime management and follow through with the ongoing classroom learning curriculum. Additional responsibilities will be supporting classroom activities such as art, outdoor gross motor play, music and daily interactions. You will have hands on training that will include Parent/Teacher interaction, staff relationship building and classroom documentation.
