The ideal candidate will have strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.Duties:Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division matters.Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop effective legal strategies.Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and briefs.Advocate for clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediation sessions.Provide clients with comprehensive legal advice and counsel, addressing their concerns and questions.Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and trust.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to support case objectives.Perform any other legal duties as required to support the firm's operations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing family law.Strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations about family law.Excellent verbal and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.Effective communication and negotiation skills to represent clients effectively in various settings.Commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes.Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines consistently.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.Skills:Strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local family law regulations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.Commitment to client satisfaction and achieving favorable outcomes.Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines consistently.Benefits:The firm offers benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance options; paid continuing legal education opportunities and bar memberships; a supportive and collaborative work environment; and paid time off and holidays.
