About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Wealth Underwriting Assistant as part of the Bank Collateral Monitoring team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. This team monitors the liquid collateral and custom liquid secure portfolios which includes approving excess collateral releases, setting up loan facilities and stock for custom partners, and monitoring for out of compliance alerts.The Senior Assistant will assist in those various activities which also include account retitling, account/loan modifications, and setting up access collateral releases. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the quality assurance and control process for compliance review of pledge releases in brokerage accounts. In this role, you will: Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and controls within Bank Collateral Monitoring functional areaBe responsible for providing asset-backed lending support services in operations, documentation, and customer service to Credit teams and field partnersInteract directly with field partners on loan related servicing activitiesProvide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures within Bank Collateral Monitoring functional area to less experienced individualsInteract with an immediate team, in Bank Collateral functional area, internal peers outside work group, and internal and external customers on a wide range of information Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 4+ years experience supporting asset-backed portfolios or securities based lending operations2+ years of quality assurance/control experience within the brokerage industryDemonstrated knowledge of brokerage products and account support/maintenanceAbility to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processesExperience articulating issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and managementExperience preparing reporting, metrics and presentation materials for various levels of leadershipExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) skills Job Expectations: Ability to work a hybrid scheduleWillingness to work on-site at stated location on the job openingThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Posting Location: Charlotte, North Carolinanone Posting End Date: 26 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
