Duties:Leading the Houston office attorney teamHiring, training, motivating, managing, and firing team membersEnsuring the attorney team meets billable hour targetsConducting weekly check-in calls with firm managementWorking directly on client matters as necessaryAvailability for weekend and evening work based on firm, team, and client demands Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Texas State Bar and eligibility to practice law in Texas8+ years of practice as an attorney, preferably in estate planning law, probate law, real estate law, and/or business lawExperience managing a team Skills:Excellent writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong negotiation and advocacy skillsProficiency in legal research tools and softwareEffective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties Benefits:401(k)Paid time offUnlimited paid time off
