Provide the development and implementation of programs related to logistics for all Manufacturing operations; offer Industrial Engineering Services to all Manufacturing operations. Oversee complex system design projects. Apply today to become part of our Kroger family!Minimum * Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university * 5 + years of related experience in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field * Proven leadership experience in the food industry Desired * Proficiency and breadth of experience in Industrial Engineering technology and application * Developed facilitative/coaching style of management opportunities * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Proficient in AutoCAD * Develop plant capacity studies. * Assist in design and layout of new facilities or revisions to existing facilities. * Generate period operating reports for each business group. * Provide transportation systems for new business ventures. * Assure individual manufacturing plants are provided with low cost efficient transportation services. * Negotiate and write contracts for distributor type services, third party warehousing, shuttling and hostelling services for manufacturing plants. * Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports. * Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements. * Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of SQF * Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles. * Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
