PRODUCTION WORKER Advanced Mat Systems is the leading manufacturer of built-to-order exterior flooring products. We are looking to fill full-time and summer student position(s). These are entry level positions. Summary Under the direction of a supervisor, you will assist with the manufacturing process of building and detailing a variety of rubber mat products. On-the-job training will be provided. Responsibilities include building forms, mixing urethanes, distributing materials, tools, and equipment throughout the stages of building. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning. You can maintain a high level of safety, organization, and attention to detail. Skills / Qualifications / Requirements Follow a simple schematic/blueprint to form matting shapes (hammer and nail experience required) from pre-cut materials. Clean, sort and place materials/items on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined areas (such as: size, type, style, color) Distribute items, materials, tools, or other items to production team members. Learn to mix polymers and cast pour into molds. Learn to use a hopper gun to detail mats with paint products. Marks materials with identifying information as needed. Build pallets and crates for products and place goods in for shipping. Maintain clean and organized workstations. Can easily lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to perform walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping. Work requires strength and stamina (standing/moving) in an open-air facility Working in an open-air facility with varying temperatures up to 100°+ in summer months This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualified Candidate MUST: Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle or reliable transportation (No public transportation in area) Must be able to speak, read and write English well enough to effectively communicate with team members. Possess good work ethic and integrity. Be enthusiastic and energetic. Willingness to learn new things and contribute ideas and communicate effectively. Must be able to pass random drug tests and background check.
