Job descriptionElectrical Maintenance MechanicFull Time--The--Electrical Maintenance Mechanic--will report to the Maintenance Department Supervisor and work initially under the supervision of an experienced mechanic to repair and maintain machine equipment.--Responsibilities:Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing corrective and preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors pneumatic tools, conveyors systems and production machines, following diaphragms, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions and engineering specification's troubleshooting malfunctions.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical machinery problems.Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements.Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Troubleshoot complex machines and systems using electrical schematics and knowledge of troubleshooting tactics. Configure multi-voltage motor windings to match incoming power.Repair and replace parts on machines and systems including motors, motor starters, VFD's, relays, timers, PID controllers, fuses, breakers, pushbuttons, emergency lighting, conduit formations, circuitry, and PLC controls.----Requirements:Must have 2 years of strong Food equipment electrical background.2 years of Food Equipment MaintenanceTechnical UnderstandingAbility to use basic hand tools.Physically able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.Industrial Skills and Qualifications.The ability to follow instructions and be a team player.Bilingual in Spanish - a plusOral and written communication skills.Ability to use basic hand tools.Must be a Team player and work well with others.Electrical Troubling Shoot experienceTechnical LeadershipTop of Form----
