Job Description Summary The Tool and Die Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance on machine molds. Responsibilities : Cleanmolds:Lubricatemolds as directed: Performa minimum of 6 month and annual PM's on all injection molds, establish procedures and maintainwritten documents, logs, etc.:Assist with mold changes on occasion:Operateheavy equipment and overhead cranes:Makeminor repairs to molds as directed:Maintaina mold inventory list electronically:Maintain, install, and repairmanufacturing and assembly equipment:Maintainbuilding and grounds :Troubleshootelectrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues:Basic Computer work:Keepwork areas clean and organized: Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Certification :High School diploma or GED:Machinist or Tool and Die Certificate from a Community College preferred: At least 3years of Tool and Die experience preferred:Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience / Skills : Forklift training and certification will be providedas necessary: Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided: Hot work training provided Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
