Hello, Cascades at Jacinto in Houston, TX is actively looking to hire a terrific full-time LVN for Evening shift (2PM-10PM). If you are a Texas-licensed LVN who loves caring for the elderly, and has a strong desire to join a terrific nursing team where you will be sincerely valued for your expertise and contribution, WE WANT YOU! We offer a great compensation package including $26-29/hour! Please look up our facility address to ensure the commute is acceptable: 1405 Holland Ave. Houston, TX 77029 What we need from you: Ordering medications, equipment and supplies as prescribed. Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in resident's condition Administering professional nursing practice services such as: tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other health care team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner What we offer you in return: Super competitive wages Complete medical/dental/vision insurance benefits Employer-matching 401k retirement program Up to 16 days' paid time off per year Company paid Life Insurance Requirements: Possess a current Texas LVN license in good standing Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc. Able to make decisions independently when warranted Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care At Cascades at Jacinto, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care.
