Claims & Rejections Senior Analyst

Description:
Purpose of Position:This role will be a key member of NA finance team and financial business partner for the business operations. This position will be responsible for overseen several functions/Processes on the NA Accounting department for assigned locations/processes within the region. In this role, the position will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to, and implementation of financial policies and procedures, transformation of finance processes and support as business partner the overall results of the region. Accountabilities:Collect any documentation related to Dumps and Donation, defining when goods claims, and rejection can be attributed to growers or shipping.Prepare claim file to go and collect losses that can be attributed to any 3rd party.Monitor collection of claims to growers or any other 3rd partyRun same exercise for claims and rejections from Customers. Maintain KPI of Dumps, claims and rejections.Perform financial analysis regarding Dumps, claims and rejections. Provide monthly report to top management monitoring Dumps, claims and rejections by periods.Create and implement SOP to better control, monitor and analyze Dumps, claims and rejections.Complete special projects as required.Minimum Skills Required:4-year College Degree (Accounting, Business or similar) from an accredited institution.+8 years of experience in accounting or finance positions and at least 3 years of prior experience as Sr. Analyst or Sr Accountant or similar role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).Knowledge of accounting updates.Good analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written).Must be able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and confidential environment.Preferred: Certified Public Accountant License.Cost accounting experience.Experience with Oracle.
