Houston, TX based Smith Information Systems LLC d/b/a PREDICTif Solutions LLC is seeking a full-time Enterprise App Programmer to perform the following job duties: (1) Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design; (2) Design, develop and modify Web based software systems; (3) Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the programs to ensure that the desired results are produced; (4) Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct; (5) Write, update and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific tasks; (6) Write, analyze, review and rewrite programs to handle specific tasks; (7) Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software; (8) Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program; and (9) Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Education, Work Experience, and Skills: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in either: Computer Science; Computer Engineering; MIS; IT; or related field; and twenty-four (24) months of work experience as either a: Software Engineer; Computer Programmer; or Software Developer; and education and work experience skills must include: C#; Python; HTML; JavaScript; JSON; Operating System & CLI-Windows; Operating System & CLI-Linux; Git; MS SQL Server; MySQL; Agile; Rest APIs; Software Lifecycle; Web API; C++; PHP; XML; JQuery; MongoDB; and Micro-Services Based Applications.
