JOB TITLE: FORKLIFT ASSISTANT BUSINESS PROFILE Alamo Transformer Supply Company has been around since 1963 in the oil-filled transformer industry and is here to meet the business needs of customers across five areas of expertise: Repair, Recondition, Rewind, Rent and Recycle. They have two locations based in San Antonio and Houston. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Forklift Assistant is responsible for assisting the forklift driver and being a second pair of eyes to ensure all materials are moved safely, on time, and without any damage. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Responsible for assisting forklift driver on various duties. Work on assembly line to ensure all products are to up to standard. Troubleshoot assembly line problems and resolve. Report to supervisor for additional job tasks as assigned. EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge to be mechanically inclined. Have basic knowledge of hand tools and use. Ability to stand continuously throughout shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Any forklift or assembly experience a plus mechanically inclined JOB TYPE & PAY Full-Time M-F
